Return to Grassroots Football

Following on from HMG's announcement on Monday 22nd Feb and the road map out of lock down, assuming the date doesn't change and that the DCMs and FA do not override what HMG have said we'll aim to get the leagues going ASAP on or immediately after 29th March.

We are still awaiting further guidance from the FA/HFA on what protocols/rules will have to be followed to allow the season to restart, as soon as we have this it will be forwarded out to all.

The season has been extended until June 30th by the FA and the league is looking at several ways of getting as much football played as possible for all clubs, in the meantime to help aid the league please could you check the following points and email Mark Culverhouse with your responses:

1. Do your current teams have enough players to be able to continue playing football until the end of June to complete any league competitions.
2. Does your club have enough pitches be it your own or hired to the club via councils or schools available to you to be able to complete league competitions until the end of June.

This information is vitally important to the League for us to be able to support you the clubs with football for your players

PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING

• No training can commence until the 29th March as per HMGs guidance or after if this date is changed
• No 1 to 1 training is allowed to any U18 player as this is a breach of Safeguarding Protocols.
