FA Announcement for NHS Test & Trace

The FA have mandated that all football activity must use the App and have a paper back up (retained for 21 days) to register the attendance of all participants including spectators and opposition. Any existing processes must be replaced by the use of this App.

The display of the QR code poster must be done by either the sport facility provider or local council for public spaces and if not provided, the club must generate their own QR code poster for each venue here.

The NHS Covid-19 app for participants to read the QR code can be downloaded here and FAQ's are here. Note alternative QR code readers/cameras will not work so the App must be used to read the QR code poster. A full list of devices tested using the App is here - if a device isn't supported, attendance will need to be recorded on paper for that individual and retained for 21 days. Everyone who can download the App should do so.
