Update for you all on the Player Registration System - From League Secretary, Mark Culverhouse

1. WHOLE GAME SYSTEM

NEHYL is adopting this system for the new season and onwards which means if you play in NEHYL you will have to register your players on the Whole Game System.

We have attended several meetings now and a training event on the system and it is straight forward, there is a bit of hard work involved at the start of this year but once this has been done the system is going to be simple a straight forward for future years.

The FA’s help file is available on the home page of the NEHYL web site and this will guide you through what is needed to be done, first with the data cleansing side and then the entering of players. The Data cleansing basically pulls all your player details from Full Time into WGS and checks for duplicates and mistakes, from which at this point you clean up and clear out.

There are also PDF help links, these are available from the main Player Registration page by clicking on the 'Need Help' button and below

Detaching Players from Clubs

Staff at Hampshire FA team will be able to assist you if you get stuck with any of the following: -

I.     Data Cleansing

II.    Adding or removing players from the whole game portal

III.   Adding players to the whole game portal

IV.   Attaching players to the relevant team/s

V.    How to process discipline online (avoids late payments caused by any delay in the postal system)

The Whole Game System is now open for clubs to start the data cleansing and entering of players ready for when the League registrations open on July 4th which then at that point you can allocate the players to teams and register with the leagues for approval.

Please also remember that your club affiliation and statement of accounts should be completed by the 1st June with Hampshire FA otherwise you will not be allowed to register teams and players with the League.

Also, do not forget that the TEAM NAME YOU AFFILIATE WITH HAMPSHIRE FA AND WGS IS THE TEAM NAME YOU WILL PLAY UNDER IN THE LEAGUE

2. PLAYER ID CARDS

NEHYL will be dropping ID cards and going with the Whole Game System Squad list, what this means is once you've done your player registrations and up loaded the players photo you can click on the button which says Squad List, this downloads a PDF to your PC, you can then either print this off or use it on your iPad or phone for the player ID roll call at games.

This will need to be done each week prior to your game and kept as a record ready for future spot checks by div sec's, the file is date stamped by WGS so it enables us to track the reports.

If players are suspended they will not appear on this squad list which means they cannot play in a game, again this covers yourselves if you do the id parade as per the rules and if you see a player that is not on the squad list then he should not be playing.

All of this will be briefly discussed at the AGM and covered in more detail at the pre-season meeting.
